Tree Behind a Brick Fence

This drawing was selected as a finalist for the 2023 Hazlehurst Art of Paper Award 2023.
It is professionally float framed in raw oak behind UV resistant, non reflective glass. 
The drawing is part of an ongoing series of drawings that aim to create subtlty and lightness from the utilitarian ballpoint pen. 
These drawings take upwards of 30 hours to complete, depending on the scale and complexity, and the process and techniques required to achieve the soft effect of the ink.
